Classic Cup Cafe in Ann Arbor

My Grandma loves this place, very nice people and good food in a clean atmosphere.

Went here for lunch and to honor my grandma's memory. Very filling meal and a decent selection. Chose one of the daily specials. Couldn't finish it, yet enjoyed it. Small, casual environment that harkens back to older times. Felt a little closer to my grandma after lunch.

Love it! Everything I've had has been good to great. Been about 10-12 times. No prob going back when I'm near.

Great for our family group of 7 for breakfast. Food was hot and wholesome and service was attentive. Really appreciated being accommodated so easily.

Server was really friendly food portions are large. Fried pickles were terrible though. I dont even know how you mess that up but they did. Badly! Haha. Other then that the place was good. I would come back.

We went there for a VERY special occassion. The staff was great, the cooks should be HANGED for what they did to the PRIME RIB! If you're going to kill an animal to eat it, honor it! These cooks shouldn't be trusted with ground CHUCK let alone PRIME RIB! I ended up not eating ANYTHING after both my mother and I sent our meat back TWICE! I wanted med-rare... Should be a beautiful pink.. not GRAY CARDBOARD! The saving grace may have been the "cafeteria style", Ice Cream scoop mashed potatoes and the "gravy"

Awesome coney island cafe diner. Not from the area so the classic cup name made me think it was just a coffee house but the food is 100 percent fabulous. 2 thumbs up!

The service is always good and friendly! We've had many very good meals. They serve authentic Greek specialties that are well worth checking out!

We had our friend's babyshower here and it was wonderful. We had eaten here several times before, and it was always great. This time, we had the large room, which they helped us set up. The server worked so hard to help us, above and beyond her job, as did management. They were all so kind.

Didn't feel too welcomed. Got stares from the male host. They favored the regulars, my service felt rushed and impersonal. Need hospitality lessons on how to treat visitors. Ordered an omelette with egg white but I saw yolk in it...waste of 99 cents. Tomato tasted old and soggy. Not an experience I will remember.

Could easily rate 4 or 5 but inconsistent in service. Have always enjoyed their soup. Sometimes we have found the food “too salty”.

We had brunch here. The omelet was fine but not special. The staff were really kind and friendly and that's the reason I am giving them 4 star.

We're always on the lookout for places that are welcoming and enjoyable when dining out with our young kiddo. Classic Cup Cafe certainly fits the bill. The employees always make us feel at home and provide the extra touches that make our son feel like he is appreciated too - a fun whipped cream design on the pancakes, some extra strips of bacon, well-timed crayons, and most of all a certain noticeable comfort level when talking to young children. Maybe you too have a child that doesn't love staying in their seat the whole time - this has never been an issue at Classic Cup, where the booth setup allows ours to climb around a bit (yeah, sometimes on the floor too). The prices are reasonable and we have enjoyed many tasty dishes...my favorite is the triple decker club sandwich. I'm told that the soups and sides are made from scratch. Not hip or trendy by any stretch, but if you're looking for a place to enjoy a satisfying meal out with your family, there are few better places in the area.

The Classic Cup is great. The wait staff and hosts are always friendly, even when they are busy. The menu offers lots of choices. My kids can always find something they like. We often order breakfast for lunch. It is convenient too, there's always a space in the parking lot.

Been coming here for years and due to my visits the last few months i will longer be coming there. The soups are not good like they used to ALWAYS be. The home made specials have gone down hill. Not sure what changes have occured but they arent good changes.

Good breakfast. The omelet is more of a scramble that is folded over, but that's about par for the course in and around Ann Arbor. Great place to have a hearty breakfast to start the day.

I hate this restaurant, dirty bathrooms, bad service, food served raw once. Do NOT recommend.

A little short on help... the coffee was great. Didn't have anything to eat, but other members of my party did and it looked great. Will stop in again somtime.
